Krazy Bloggers @ Krispy Kreme Media Launch & A Kute Kueen’s Kravings Satisfied!
Advertlets, Parties & Events May 5th, 2009

Remember the Krispy Kreme media launch a couple of weekends ago? I know, a bit late, but here are the pics!

Some of us that came for the exclusive media launch - we got to try it 3 days before it launched!
Anyway, I went there again TODAY for a meeting with Levy Li, the reigning Miss Malaysia Universe 2008. We’re planning something soon, and it’s a surprise. You’ll hear of it here in time.

She wanted to try Krispy Kreme, so we adjourned there. Special thanks to Mr Chong, GM of Krispy Kreme who happened to be there - we got a whole box of donuts on the house, and coffee as well! It was nice to try some of the other flavours today as well, especially the ones with the filling. It’s pretty cool of them to be so generous, and he even remembers my blog…’Ah, I saw your post! Adventures something right?’. Haha.
And now, more pictures from the launch…first of all - here’s what Krispy Kreme is all about. The signature ‘Original Glazed’ donut is what made them famous, and was their flagship product. Feast your eyes, and moisten your lips…
Here’s some studio shots of the donuts, which I found at Voize.my:

Krispy Kreme has been around for a really long time, but they’ve recently only moved into Malaysia. Expect to see ridiculously long queues for donuts again. The management team from the US was down as well to witness the launch of the event, as well as Dato’ Francis Lee, executive director of Berjaya Corp. Also present was Jack Welch, president of Krispy Kreme international. He is not to be confused with Jeff Welch, former chairman of GE.
Does anyone know who the girl on the extreme right is? She looks very familiar. Or maybe she looks like a lankier version of Paula Malai Ali.

With the Malaysian management team…

The event was lots of fun:

Ahem ahem. Presenting…The BloggerUnited Bloggers - Ellie, Josh, Rachel. 3 from the BloggerUnited Top 10 ya’ll!

Getting in the Krispy Kreme outlet, after ‘kueuing’…didn’t have to ‘kueue’ for long though:

A klose up of the donuts:

A bit ‘krazy’ right the ‘kaptions’? But damn kau fun wei…here’s a ‘Kollage!’

These good looking people were from the media. They look familiar.

Below: Spot the bloggers.

Celebrities were there too, including the lovely Hannah Tan, back from Japan with her new volumized hair (I love it!), and the bubbly Rina Omar. Congratulations on going freelance, Rina!

And a final bite for you…a huge photocompilation to ‘kap’ off this post:
